
How to Make Vanilla Bundt Cake

3/4 cup butter – (160gm) at room temperature
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs at room temperature.
2 teaspoon Vanilla.
1/2+2 cups sifted flour.
2 teaspoons baking powder.
1 cup heavy cream at room temperature
A pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350F and dust the pans with flour and oil. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl.
- Cream the butter in a stand mixer with a whisk attachment. Add the sugar and beat on high for 3-4 minutes, scraping the bowl. Add the eggs one by one while mixing on medium speed, then the vanilla, scrape the bowl down, and mix on high for a minute.
- Reduce the speed to low and add the flour in two batches, alternating with the heavy cream. Once almost combined, remove the whisk attachment and fold in any remaining flour using a spatula. Do not over-mix the batter.
- Pour the batter into the pan, then bake at 350F for about 40 minutes, or until the edges pull away from the pan and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for about two minutes, then invert the cake onto a cooling rack, and set it aside to cool completely.
