750 gm flour or 3 cups flour
333 gm powder sugar
500 gm ghee
Directions
- To start, you should mix the ghee or butter with the powdered sugar using a mixer. Next, add the flour to the mixture and continue mixing until it is well combined. The resulting dough should be soft and non-sticky to the touch.
- Place the dough ball in a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for an hour.
- After taking the dough out of the refrigerator, let it rest for 15 minutes. Then, gently knead the dough for a few seconds. Next, start shaping the dough into balls. Place the dough balls on wax paper on a baking tray, flatten them using your hand, and press a pistachio into each cookie.
- To bake the cookies, preheat the oven to 300°F/150°C. Bake them for 10-15 minutes, but keep a close eye on them as the time may vary depending on your oven. Once done, the bottom of the cookies should have a golden color, but be careful not to overbake them as they can burn easily.
- Take it out of the oven and let it cool
